UC San Diego Thornton Hospital - Geriatric Emergency Department

Hemera was approached to customize its Monaco ceiling fixture to integrate BIOS SkyBlue lighting technology with circadian regulation for the renovation of the Geriatric Emergency department at the San Diego Thornton Hospital. The Monaco is ideal for healthcare applications as it is built robust with cleanable materials, it is a closed shade made with thermoformed acrylic and removable bottom polycarbonate disc to access concealed LED and driver module. Hemera designed a custom cluster to integrate the BIOS LED engines, colour shifting controller, LED driver, and ensure even illumination.
