The two thin, elegant flaps on both sides of Pista’s linear module make it already an obviously beneficial new member of the family. The new module shows off an interesting esthetical value and has the functional feature of reducing glare. Additionally, the flaps have the visual effect of extending the slim track profile. This gives designers endless options to create interesting light patterns. The new module is available in 3 different sizes, in black and white structure.
Pista is the ultimate in modern aesthetics that introduces thinner slimmer magnetic track rails, ever smaller light fixtures and ultra-thin cables. But Pista isn’t just about miniaturization, it’s also about personalization. The designer can play with different modules on single or multiple track rails in different lengths and colours. The geometrical possibilities really are endless. Even after installation the magnetic track rails mean you can change the lighting configuration. Two LED linear modules, two entirely different effects. The first, beautifully functional with powerful lumen packages (1000 lm/m). The second, Night Light is pure design, for more ambient and intimate lighting.
Pista is a 48V magnetic track rail system that offers a myriad of configurations including a Linear LED, Night Light LED, as well as the addition of spotlight and suspended fixtures. The track can be surface-mounted, suspended or recessed, and comes in black or white finishes. Track lengths are 39.4in (1000mm), 78.7in (2000mm) and 118.1in (3000mm). Thanks to a 180-degree connection, the system can create continuous linear LED tracks. A 90-degree connection allows for more geometric installations, such as ceiling-to-wall continuous recessed, or a suspended right-angled fixture. A flexible connection also allows to connect two tracks with a flexible cable to create corner configurations that are larger or smaller than 90 degrees or suspensions of tracks at different levels.
The Tersus is an example of the simplest form unlocking a myriad of design possibilities. The long reaching light pattern cast on the wall coupled with the numerous finishes and materials offered makes the Tersus well versed for all kinds of compositions and applications.
The Plura is a simple, straight forward fixture that is excellently executed. With the Plura it was about resolving the seams and edges and their relationships to one another. The result is a scale-able fixture that has a sharp, sophisticated feel.
Casia is a fresh and innovative approach to a flush mount light fixture. Each carefully selected material plays an integral role in the aesthetic design and performance. The wood arms, metal shade, and glass diffuser combine to create a minimalist form well suited for a modern environment or a more traditional space. The 14” version works well in bathrooms, closets, narrow corridors, and smaller kitchens. The 18” and 22” sizes are incredibly dynamic and work well in different environments such as commercial, residential, and hospitality applications.
Merus is a quintessential Cerno design. Clean, modern lines paired with a novel indirect light source compose a form that balances beauty and usefulness. Our team used Cerno's signature material palette of wood and metal.
The Volo 36 Flush mount design transcends and blurs the lines where art and utility meet. It is composed of familiar shapes of varied sizes and materials. We scrutinized the nuanced proportions to ensure the original form was not compromised by simply scaling up every dimension. The result is a balanced and voluminous light fixture that produces a beautiful quality of light. Similar to the Volo 18 and 24, the 36 use of metal, solid hardwood, and leather is luxurious and also feels natural and warm. The care and craftsmanship that go into making each Cerno fixture is really on display when admiring the Volo.
Veris was a concept we started exploring ten years ago. Two offset layers of petals simultaneously shield the light source while allowing reflected light to wash the inside petals, creating a dramatic ambient luminaire. The form materializes through a series of processes that utilize cutting edge CNC laser technology but still rely on skilled hand-rolling and bending of the aluminum petals.
