Lex in Latin is defined as Law, Principle, or Condition. Simple architectural principles guided the design and construction of the Lex pendant. Three primary parts, the light, the hubs, and the wood slats, compose the form, function, and feel. The laws of attraction are often mysterious, and Lex's ability to appear both solid and porous simultaneously creates a sense of intrigue and freshness.
The handcrafted Volo 18 pendant is a celebration of natural materials. The solid hardwood, brass finish, leather, and aluminum showcase the purposeful design that went into each detail. The indirect LED light source emits light of beautiful quality.

Veris was a concept we started exploring ten years ago. Two offset layers of petals simultaneously shield the light source while allowing reflected light to wash the inside petals, creating a dramatic ambient luminaire. The form materializes through a series of processes that utilize cutting edge CNC laser technology but still rely on skilled hand-rolling and bending of the aluminum petals.
The Ignis and Imber were inspired by the same design principles that make Cerno and ICRAVE well suited to collaborate. Honesty, simplicity, elemental, timeless and quality are words that sit at the core of both companies’ design ethos and we believe these light fixtures embrace these qualities well. Each fixture was reduced to its essential parts – frame and shade – highlighting the interplay of the components, and accentuating the clean lines of the form.
