The exit sign is illuminated by a field-replaceable, high-brightness LED illuminator strip. The emergency lighting power pack has two integral PAR 18 incandescent heads that are able to be aimed in two planes and are enclosed in focus-enhancing lenses. Once aimed, the lamps are secure from unauthorized tampering. The PC3 can also be end-mounted, adding to its already versatile application to providing effective illumination for safe egress. Originally designed for use in New York City schools, AtLite's series of heavy duty guards are constructed of 18-gauge 1/2 inch angle-welded steel. Guards for battery units and remotes allow for full adjustment of the heads. Keyhole slots are included on all guards for easy installation and maintenance. Standard powder coat finish is available in black or white.
